Music as a way to enjoy time together, discovering the inner rhythm everybody has inside, giving voice to our deep sense of melody.

We offer an interactive concert for children and families based on the active involvement of the audience. A show to experience music by ears, mind and body listening and co-creating it. By the means of musical games, the two musicians will involve people in the process.

This project seeks to create a vibrant and inclusive environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to celebrate music, creativity, and social interaction. The compositions are original pieces composed by Francesco Colocci. We include the use of different instruments and improvisation as a key element of the performance.

Pedagogical perspective

Collaborative Music Show is a project that aims to create an educational methodology somewhere between the concert form and the music workshop. Here the teacher shifts from the role of musician-actor to that of educator-trainer, and the audience members experience different active and passive roles in the music making process.

The defining design principles of this project are:

  • The minimal or absent use of words as a means of instructing
  • the incorporation of pedagogical practice within performance
  • spread knowledge of some wind instruments (saxophone and flute) by showing how they work
  • activation of voice and body as means of musical expression in a guided way and through improvisation
  • invitation to collaborate in the process of making music.

Music is a journey that unites and inspires.
